Loveden is an inappropriate place to site a utility scale wind farm:
- Temple Hill has archaeological deposits and possible links to the Knights Templar that reVOLT is researching
- The turbines will be visible from key heritage assets such as Belvoir Castle, the National Trust property at Belton House and Lincoln Cathedral, as well as at least nine local churches
- There are six Grade I, 8 Grade II* and 72 Grade II listed buildings within a 5km radius. Hough on the Hill is a designated conservation village from which the turbines will be visible
- Loveden Hill is one of the largest Anglo-Saxon cemetery sites in England. The site is exceptionally rich in grave goods, with some of the finds housed in The British Museum.
